Reference benchmarks for Claude Fable 5

These are external benchmarks I pulled from the source comparison guides on agentos.guide — SWE-bench Verified, DRACO, Kilo plan rubric, build-time measurements, vendor-reported coding scores. They are not goldiebench medal scores (those come only from same-prompt one-shot creative coding tasks in the matrix). I surface them here so the spec sheet for Claude Fable 5 is honest about what's measured.

What is Claude Fable 5?

Claude Fable 5 is the Anthropic frontier model with a 200,000 tokens (1M with extended thinking) context window, released 2026-06-09. Tagline: The newest Anthropic model — first Mythos-class made generally available.. Official source: anthropic.com/claude.

Pricing detail. Released alongside Mythos 5 on June 9, 2026 as the publicly-available member of the new Mythos class. Premium per-token pricing on the Anthropic API; available everywhere Opus 4.8 ships.

How I use it inside the Agent OS. Selected from Agent OS for the highest-stakes work — it replaced Opus 4.8 as the safety net on hard prompts. Its four core 3D games were rebuilt to showcase quality with the threejs-game-director skill, lifting the full 42-task bench to 8.14 avg — the #1 solo model, behind only the Fusion and MoA ensembles.

What I built with Claude Fable 5

Every model on Goldie Bench gets the same fixed prompt set — one shot, single HTML file out — and I score the result 0–10 inside the Agent Operating System. Here's what Claude Fable 5 shipped on the bench: 47 one-shot demos across 200,000 tokens (1M with extended thinking) of context. Of those, 47 are scored against the field with my honest 0–10 from the source guides at agentos.guide.

Strengths

  • Now the top SOLO model on this bench — 8.14 avg, #3 overall, edging Grok (8.13); only the Fusion (8.60) and Hermes MoA (8.38) ensembles rank higher
  • 15 medals across 42 tasks (5 gold, 2 silver, 8 bronze) — shader/GPU physics is its superpower (Cornell-box path tracer 8.7, black-hole lensing 8.7, synthwave outrun 8.7)
  • Its four core 3D games (crypt, skyrim, twilightvale, voxelcraft) rebuilt to showcase quality with the threejs-game-director skill — authored heroes, layered worlds, PBR materials, cohesive HUDs, all 8.8–9.0
  • Beats Opus 4.8 head-to-head on the majority of tasks; tops external SWE-bench Verified at 95.0% in Julian's three-dragons writeup

Trade-offs

  • Its hardest one-shots (crypt, twilightvale) black-screened on three.js r128 API drift — the scored builds are agentic rebuilds, not the raw first pass, and crypt's AAA rebuild needed a one-line emissive patch
  • The showcase ceiling shown here needs the threejs-game-director scaffolding baked into the prompt — a bare one-shot lands lower (7.72 avg)
  • Premium $10/$50 per-M pricing — you're paying for reasoning depth; cheaper models stay competitive on pure one-shot visuals

Best for

  • Mission-critical one-shot builds where you want Anthropic's newest reasoning
  • Long-context work using extended thinking up to 1M tokens
  • Plan-heavy multi-step tasks where intelligence in the plan matters more than the build

Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Crypt — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Crypt 🥈
Game
AAA rebuild via the threejs-game-director skill transforms it into a real torch-lit crawler: warm-lit cracked-stone walls, a stone sarcophagus, a flaming torch held in first-person, scattered rubble and soul-gem pickups, drifting dust, and a cohesive HUD (vitality, objective + distance, compass, gem counter). WASD/mouse-look verified. Needed a one-line patch to a glitched emissive token and the interior reads a touch boxy, keeping it just under the very top.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Dragonrealm — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Dragonrealm
Game
Clean, atmospheric frozen scene with layered mountains, snow-capped pines, standing stones and a brazier fire that reads clearly as a Skyrim-inspired vale; solid low-poly polish and full control set (walk/sprint/sword/dragon). Falls short of the top tier because the visible frame is a bit sparse and flat—no dragon or sword in view, terrain lacks detail up close—so it's shippable and pleasant but not a task-topping standout.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Doom — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Doom
Game
Iterated rebuild lands a complete DOOM-style raycaster: textured corridor walls with correct perspective, a gun and crosshair, a visible demon enemy, an HP/kills/wave HUD and a live minimap tracking monsters. Move, turn, strafe and shoot all respond (verified) — a convincing, playable first impression.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Racing — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Racing
Game
Strong, clean third-person 3D racer with proper perspective road, curbs, trees, colorful obstacles, follow-cam, HUD, lives and touch controls all rendering crisply. Solid and shippable, but visuals are somewhat generic/flat and it lacks a distinctive polish edge (e.g., turns, minimap, real track curves) to top the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Skyrim — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Skyrim 🥇
Game
AAA rebuild is showcase-grade: a dramatic Nordic dusk valley with layered snow-capped peaks, pine forests and ruins, a first-person sword AND studded wooden shield in real PBR wood/metal/leather, drifting clouds and snowfall, and a cohesive HUD (compass strip, objective card, HP/stamina/magicka bars). Walk and look verified. Only the absent on-screen wolves keep it from a flawless read.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Twilightvale — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Twilightvale 🥉
Game
AAA rebuild is showcase-grade: an authored hooded hero with a glowing trailed weapon on a moody twilight field of glowing mushrooms, floating crystals and rune-stones, live storm weather with lightning, collectible shards, and a cohesive HUD (vitality, wave/kills/wisps, weather, compass, ATK). Move, orbit and attack verified. Dense, atmospheric and clearly readable.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Voxelcraft — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Voxelcraft 🥇
Game
AAA rebuild is an authentic textured Minecraft: procedurally-textured grass/dirt/stone/wood blocks (not flat colors), a blocky tree, flowers and stone structures, a first-person hand with a placement crosshair, a day clock, and a full HUD with a heart row, a hunger row and a textured 5-slot block hotbar. Break, place and move verified — a real little world.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Gtafoot — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Gtafoot
Game
One-shot: night city w/ dense lit windows, DINER neon, rain streaks, lamp pools, blocky humanoid player, cohesive HUD + minimap + wanted stars. Dark at street level but atmospheric. Eyeballed.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Gtadrive — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Gtadrive
Game
One-shot: sunset boulevard, glowing dusk facades, orange car w/ cabin + taillight, attract-mode drift w/ tire smoke, speedo + minimap + damage HUD. Facade emissive runs hot. Eyeballed.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Aipbpromo — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Aipbpromo
Page
One-shot: clean gold-on-aubergine auto-playing ad, count-up stats caught mid-animation, progress bar + scene dots, deterministic 30s loop. Eyeballed.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Parachute — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Parachute
Game
One-shot: spread-eagle articulated skydiver over jungle canopy + river, wind streaks, altimeter tape + vspeed HUD, auto-jump demo. Cloud sprites read flat from above. Eyeballed.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Flightsim — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Flightsim
Game
One-shot: real aircraft model (wings/prop/gear) on runway w/ centerline + edge lights + tower, complete glass PFD (speed/alt tapes, pitch ladder, heading ribbon), autopilot demo rolls. Alt tape shows negative rows. Eyeballed.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Arcade — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Arcade
Game
Clean, polished neon breakout with glowing rainbow bricks, gradient paddle, twinkling starfield, particle effects, autopilot demo, multi-input controls and level progression — strong and shippable. Slightly generic layout and the ball missed rendering its shadow badge in this frame keep it just under the top tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Dogfight — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Dogfight
Game
Renders cleanly with a solid 3D scene—chase-cam plane, clouds, mountains, HUD, health bar and crosshair all present and on-brief. But no enemies visible in the shot and the plane looks slightly low/generic; competent and shippable yet not distinctive enough to top the field.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Dragonflight — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Dragonflight
Game
Renders cleanly with a polished neon HUD (speed/score/rings/fury), a large glowing ring, floating decor and a green winged dragon — all brief elements present. Weak spot is the camera framing: the dragon is oddly close and awkwardly angled with wings dominating the frame, giving a less-controlled, generic feel versus the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Game — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Game
Game
Clean 3D neon arena renders well with polished glowing walls, floating gold orbs, red chasers, and complete mechanics (score/lives/invuln/restart), but it's a fairly familiar collect-and-dodge concept that lands just short of the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Neonblaster — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Neonblaster
Game
Screenshot shows a polished, on-brief neon shooter with glowing enemies, a firing player ship, a colorful starfield, and a clean HUD; source backs juicy features (waves, bosses, power-ups, screen-shake, synth music, triple/rapid shot). Strong and shippable but slightly generic ship rendering and simple bullet art keep it just below the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Neoncity — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Neoncity
Game
Strong on-brief cyberpunk drive: clean neon road edges, glowing buildings with colored strips, magenta hood reflection and a proper first-person perspective all render well. The near hood reads as a solid black block cutting off the lower third and city density is a bit sparse, keeping it just below the top tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Neonracer — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Neonracer
Game
Renders cleanly with strong on-brief neon aesthetic — glowing pink/cyan road edges, retro grid, colorful pylons and dashes create a convincing synthwave scene. Weaknesses: the vapor trail particles aren't clearly visible in the shot and the player car is a bit blocky, keeping it just shy of the top.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Nordiccrypt — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Nordiccrypt
Game
Strong atmospheric first-person crypt with convincing stone-block walls, warm torch glow, vignette, and clean rune-styled title; the huge foreground flame sprite reads slightly like an over-bright blob and the scene feels a touch empty/generic corridor rather than a rich explorable ruin, keeping it just below the top tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Outrun — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Outrun 🥇
Game
Gorgeous synthwave palette with banded retro sun, parallax mountains, glowing palms and neon-edged pseudo-3D road with a curving horizon and traffic — genuinely polished and on-brief; only nit is the player car sits a touch high with a slightly floaty tail-light bar, but this clearly matches or beats the field best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Pool — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Pool
Game
Renders a clean 3D table with wood rails, six pockets, full 15-ball rack and cue ball, plus solid drag-to-aim physics and ball-ball collisions; slightly generic camera angle and the rack has spread post-autoplay-shot, but it's polished and shippable.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Raycaster — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Raycaster
Game
Iterated rebuild renders a clean DDA raycaster maze with colored walls, correct fisheye correction, crosshair, hearts and a zap meter, plus a detailed minimap showing player heading and colored entities. Move/turn/strafe/zap respond (verified). Still-untextured flat walls keep it just under the top tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Rpg — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Rpg
Game
Iterated rebuild renders a polished top-down Emberfall RPG: a checkerboard overworld with trees, a dirt path, a lake, scattered loot, a readable pixel hero and a green slime enemy with an HP bar, plus HP/XP/level/ATK and an inventory panel. Move and attack respond (verified) — strong and shippable.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Landing — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Landing
Page
Renders with a slick animated 3D starfield, floating shapes, and clean glassmorphic feature cards, but the screenshot captures the features section with the torus knot visually intruding over card text — a composition/legibility issue that undercuts polish. Strong tech and theme cohesion, but the overlapping 3D object bleeding into content keeps it below the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Webos — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Webos
Page
Renders cleanly with a polished menubar, blurred glass dock with hover labels and running-app dots, and all three apps (Notes, Paint, Terminal) launched and cascading correctly with working traffic-light controls. Strong and shippable, but lacks a maximize/restore and the visuals are competent rather than standout versus the 9.0 top build, so it lands solidly in the strong-but-not-winning tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Blackhole — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Blackhole
Sim
Strong Interstellar-style render with a clean event-horizon shadow, tilted accretion disk wrapping over/under the black hole, visible Doppler beaming brightening one side, and a subtle lensed arc — all polished with tasteful nebula/starfield and typography. Minor nit is the slightly soft disk detail, but it clearly matches or beats the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Boids — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Boids
Sim
Strong 3D boids sim: cone-shaped birds with cyan-magenta gradient clearly flocking within a subtle wireframe bounds box, plus attract/scatter marker and clean title UI. Docks slightly for the somewhat scattered/loose clustering visible and generic starfield, but it's polished and clearly on-brief.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Cloth — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Cloth
Sim
Strong Verlet cloth with structural+shear constraints draping convincingly over the sphere, nice gradient texture and folds visible in the render; loses a touch to slight harsh specular blowout and the cloth not fully settling/pooling at the floor for a cleaner drape.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Fluid — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Fluid
Sim
Renders beautifully with elegant curl-noise flow lines and a lovely cyan-to-magenta speed-based gradient, plus autopilot vortex and clean pointer interaction. Strong and shippable, but it's more a flow-field particle field than a true fluid sim with density diffusion, so it falls just short of topping the best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Fractal — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Fractal
Sim
Renders a clean, high-iteration Mandelbrot with sharp filament detail and a rich red/blue gradient, plus full pan/zoom/pinch, Julia toggle, morphing constant, and autoplay zoom. Very strong and shippable; slightly generic palette and the deep-zoom float precision limit keep it just under the top tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Galaxy — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Galaxy
Sim
Strong render with a convincing spiral disk, warm-core-to-blue-outer color gradient, glowing core, background starfield, and inertia-based swirl/zoom controls. Spiral arms read as slightly diffuse rather than crisp tight lanes, keeping it just shy of the top-of-field best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Orbit — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Orbit
Sim
Renders cleanly with a glowing sun, colored planets, starfield and solid 3D orbit/zoom/spawn controls plus real N-body physics with softening and substeps; however the screenshot shows no visible orbital trails and a somewhat sparse, static-looking layout, keeping it strong-but-generic rather than a task winner.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Particleforge — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Particleforge
Sim
Clean render with a glowing forge core, ringed particle formation and legible mode/hint HUD; the repel state correctly pushes particles into a crisp orbital shell. However the particles read mostly white with muted hue variation and the arrangement is a static ring rather than dynamic swirling, keeping it strong-but-shy of the field's best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Pathtracer — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Pathtracer 🥇
Sim
Textbook Cornell box with convincing colored-wall bleeding, a golden metal sphere with sharp reflections showing the room, and a glass sphere with proper refraction/caustics and a purple sphere visible through it — physically-correct GI, soft shadows and checker floor all render cleanly. Minor Monte-Carlo noise at 80 samples is expected and it converges; a top-tier build on this task.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Reactiondiff — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Reactiondiff
Sim
Strong Gray-Scott implementation with a beautiful teal-gold glowing palette, clean coral maze patterns filling the screen, and solid UI with presets, drawing, and reseed; the smooth-scaled upsampling looks lush though slightly soft/blurry rather than crisp, keeping it just shy of the top.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Solar — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Solar
Sim
Renders cleanly with all 8 planets, elliptical orbit rings, glowing sun, Saturn's ring, and a polished title/legend UI; log-scaled distances plus interactive orbit/zoom controls are a thoughtful touch. Weaknesses are flat-colored planets (no textures) and inner planets crowding the sun, keeping it strong-shippable rather than field-topping.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Wormhole — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Wormhole
Sim
The tunnel core with depth-fading rings and colorful particles reads convincingly as a wormhole and the UI/title are clean, but the flat teal fog fills most of the frame instead of an immersive tunnel, and the oversized foreground particle squares plus the misplaced solid-tube geometry look like rendering artifacts that break the polish.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Aurora — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Aurora 🥈
Visual
Beautiful WebGL fragment shader with layered green-blue aurora ribbons, twinkling starfield, snow-rimmed mountain silhouette, and elegant title typography — genuinely convincing northern lights. Interactive mouse sway and click surge plus the reflected glow push it to task-topping polish.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Fireworks — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Fireworks
Visual
Clean starfield with subtle gradient and a nicely styled title, plus solid physics/palette variety in code (rings, sparks, flash), but the captured moment shows an empty sky with just one faint burst starting in the corner, so the screenshot lacks the wow-factor of a mid-explosion capture. Competent and shippable but not visually spectacular enough to top the field.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Lavalamp — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Lavalamp
Visual
Strong metaball merging with convincing rim/glow and interactive stir/hue controls, but the blobs clumped into one oversized green mass filling most of the frame rather than distinct rising lava globs, hurting the classic lamp read.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Matrix — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Matrix
Visual
Clean, dense katakana rain with proper fading trails, glowing bright heads, and a polished neon MATRIX title; screenshot shows a cyan hue (default green is genre-canonical) and the effect reads authentically, though it lands just shy of the field's best with fairly uniform column speeds and modest interactivity flair.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Plasma — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Plasma
Visual
Gorgeous smooth full-screen plasma with rich color banding, glowing title, and clean palette/hint UI; ripples and 6 palettes are implemented in source. Very close to the top of the field but marginally shy of a clear winner — the effect is beautiful but not distinctly more polished than the best.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Synthwave — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Synthwave
Visual
Nails every synthwave staple — banded gradient sun, glowing perspective grid, layered mountain silhouettes, starfield and neon pylons with strong purple/pink/cyan palette and clean typographic title. The one oddity is the pink pylon clipping oddly close to the camera, but overall it's a polished, on-brief render that competes for the top.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Terrain — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Terrain
Visual
Renders a convincing infinite terrain with snowy peaks, sandy slopes and grassy valleys, plus solid chunked LOD, auto-fly and full drag/keyboard/pinch controls; the vivid green splotches read as a bit unnatural against the tan and the sky is empty/flat, keeping it just short of the top tier.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Voxel — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Voxel
Visual
Iterated rebuild holds its excellent standard: a gorgeous floating voxel island with grass/stone/snow biomes, trees, ponds, drifting clouds and colorful flying birds, a day/night toggle and a bird counter. Orbit/zoom/glide controls respond (verified). Terrain reads a touch flat, keeping it just shy of the very top.
Claude Fable 5 one-shot build of Waves — GoldieBench AI benchmark screenshot▶ LIVE
Waves
Visual
Renders a convincing 3D wave field with faceted specular highlights, bobbing buoys, and orbit/ripple controls, but the blown-out white specular glare feels harsh and the sun ball reads as an ugly dark disc against the sky gradient, dropping it below the polished top tier.
