Best Claude SEO Agency: Who To Hire, How To Judge Them, And How The Claude Models Score
The best Claude SEO agency picks ranked, what to ask before you hire one, and how the Claude models actually score on the GoldieBench leaderboard.

The best Claude SEO agency on my list is Goldie Agency, and I'm saying upfront that it's my own agency so you can weigh my bias.
After that, the third-party agencies I'd shortlist are Victorious, uSERP, Go Fish Digital, Single Grain, iPullRank, Siege Media and First Page Sage.
A Claude SEO agency is an SEO team that builds its service around Claude, the AI assistant made by Anthropic.
The phrase has two meanings, because it can describe an agency that gets your brand named in Claude's answers or an agency that uses Claude to do the SEO work.
The problem it solves is simple, because buyers now ask AI assistants who to hire, and a brand that isn't named never gets the enquiry.
In this post I'll explain both meanings, rank the agencies, show you how to judge one, and then show you how the Claude models score on this leaderboard.
The ranked list of Claude SEO agencies
Every detail in this table comes from each agency's own website, which I read on 14 October 2026.
| Rank | Agency | What its own site says | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldie Agency (my agency) | It helps brands get found, cited and recommended by Google and AI, starting with a free strategy session | Brands that want AI visibility, content and links from one team |
| 2 | Victorious | It sells a service called Claude Answer Engine Optimization | Brands that want a Claude-specific service |
| 3 | uSERP | It says it gets brands cited in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude and Perplexity, and measures it | Brands that want links and AI citations together |
| 4 | Go Fish Digital | It offers GEO, SEO, digital PR and paid media, and it names Claude on its homepage | Brands that want several channels from one agency |
| 5 | Single Grain | It offers AEO, GEO and LLM SEO services and names Claude among the surfaces it covers | Marketing teams that also buy paid media and content |
| 6 | iPullRank | It offers Relevance Engineering, GEO and AI search strategy programmes | Enterprise and mid-market teams |
| 7 | Siege Media | It positions itself as a full-service GEO agency for brands | Brands that win through content and digital PR |
| 8 | First Page Sage | It describes itself as an SEO and GEO agency focused on lead generation | B2B firms that measure leads |
I haven't hired the seven third-party agencies, so I'm describing what each one says about itself.
I haven't listed their prices, because most agencies quote after a call and I won't guess.
The order shows how directly each site speaks to Claude, and every agency here is an established company.
What is a Claude SEO agency?
The first meaning is visibility inside Claude.
An agency of this kind works to get your brand mentioned, cited and recommended when a buyer asks Claude a question.
You will also see this called AEO, GEO or LLM SEO, and all three names describe the goal of being the answer an AI gives.
The second meaning is SEO produced with Claude.
An agency of this kind uses Claude for research, writing, publishing and tracking, while people own strategy, quality review and link building.
| Meaning | What the agency does | What you should ask to see |
|---|---|---|
| Getting named by Claude | It builds your footprint across the sources a model reads and measures the answers | The prompts it tracks and the dated answers it has recorded |
| Doing SEO with Claude | It runs production on Claude with human strategy and review | The workflow, the rules the model follows and the human checks |
The best agencies do both, because Claude-assisted production creates more answer-shaped pages for a model to read.
The video at the top shows my own Claude SEO workflow, and it is not a test of the third-party agencies.
How getting named by Claude works
My Claude SEO agency guide explains the idea in plain terms.
Models repeat names that appear consistently across many surfaces in answer-shaped content.
Those surfaces include articles, community threads, videos, reviews and public data.
So the work is a footprint job, where you publish clear answers on your own site and earn coverage on sources people already trust.
The Victorious page on Claude makes a similar point, because it says Claude tends to name only a few companies.
It lists consistent entity presence, a clear content narrative and editorial coverage as the signals that matter.
Anthropic doesn't publish a formula for brand recommendations, so nobody outside the company knows the exact rules.
Nobody can guarantee what Claude says
I'll be direct, because this is where buyers get hurt.
Nobody can guarantee what a model says, and that includes me and Goldie Agency.
An agency controls the work on your footprint and the honesty of its reporting.
An agency doesn't control the answer, the timing or the revenue that follows.
Nobody can promise you a timeline either, so treat any guaranteed date as a warning sign.
Number one: Goldie Agency
Goldie Agency is the SEO and link building agency I started on my own, and it now has 70+ people. It's my company, so this is the most biased section on the page.
The way in is a free SEO strategy session, which the page describes as a free AI brand visibility session with no obligation.
The page says you leave with a custom visibility plan, an AI visibility roadmap and a competitor gap analysis.
It names Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and my Claude guide explains how the same footprint work applies to Claude.
The method is called trusted-source coverage, which the page breaks into expert bylines, independent reviews, industry comparisons and research-led coverage.
The agency site also lists link building, a Complete Site Audit and an AI Automation service.
AI runs around 80% of our internal operations, so the agency fits the second meaning of the phrase as well.
Paid work is scoped after the session, so I won't quote a price here.
The seven third-party agencies in brief
Victorious publishes a dedicated Claude Answer Engine Optimization page, and its AEO menu also lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot. uSERP says an in-house toolsuite finds the sources AI overviews and LLMs already reference, and it tracks AI and LLM citation counts. Go Fish Digital describes itself as a generative engine optimisation and full-service digital marketing agency with 20 years in search, and it offers a free GEO audit. Single Grain lists AEO, LLM SEO and generative engine optimisation services, and it says it tracks AI citation frequency and AI Overview presence. iPullRank calls itself a pioneering enterprise and mid-market AI search agency, and it offers an AI search readiness assessment. Siege Media says it studies prompt and citation data and builds content, signals and coverage around the gaps it finds. First Page Sage describes itself as an SEO and GEO agency with over 17 years of experience. The iPullRank, Siege Media and First Page Sage homepages talk about AI search in general, so ask each one how its programme covers Claude.
How to judge a Claude SEO agency
Use this table on every sales call.
| What to judge | A strong answer | A weak answer |
|---|---|---|
| Measurement | The agency shows dated AI answers for prompts you chose | The agency only shows traffic charts |
| Claude coverage | The agency explains how it works on Claude specifically | The agency says all AI search is the same |
| Workflow | The agency shows how it uses AI and what people review | The agency calls its process proprietary and stops there |
| Footprint | The plan covers your site, coverage, reviews and communities | The plan is only more blog posts |
| Honesty | The agency says results can't be guaranteed | The agency guarantees a mention or a date |
| Ownership | You keep your content, accounts and data | The agency holds your logins |
How to hire one step by step
Start by writing ten questions a real buyer would ask Claude before choosing a company like yours.
Ask Claude all ten in fresh chats and save every answer with the date, because that record is your baseline.
Repeat each prompt a few times, because answers vary from one chat to the next.
Shortlist three agencies from the table that match your size and your market.
Ask each agency to show you how it tracks prompts and what a real report looks like.
Ask each agency which off-site sources it would target first and how it earns that coverage.
Agree a first phase of around 90 days, and re-run your ten prompts at the end to compare them with the baseline.
What a Claude SEO agency should deliver
- You should get an agreed list of buyer prompts that the agency will track.
- You should get a baseline of what Claude and other AI tools say about your brand today.
- You should get a clean-up of the facts about your brand across your site and profiles.
- You should get answer-first pages with FAQ sections and schema.
- You should get coverage on trusted third-party sources such as bylines, reviews and comparisons.
- You should get the same prompts re-checked on a schedule and reported honestly.
Questions to ask before you hire
- Which prompts will you track for my brand, and can I choose them with you?
- How often do you re-ask those prompts, and will I see the raw answers?
- Do you work on Claude specifically, or on AI search in general?
- Which Claude model or other model do you use in production, and who reviews the output?
- Where does your research come from, and how do you stop the model inventing facts?
- Who owns the content, the accounts and the data when we stop?
Red flags to walk away from
- A guarantee that Claude will recommend you is a promise nobody can keep.
- A guaranteed date or a guaranteed income figure is a sales tactic.
- An agency that can't show you one tracked prompt is selling a label.
- A plan built on thousands of AI pages with no human review can damage your site.
- A contract that keeps your logins makes leaving expensive.
Which Claude models are on GoldieBench, and how do they score?
Now for the GoldieBench part, and I need to be clear about what it measures.
GoldieBench scores models on one-shot builds such as landing pages, apps, games and visuals, on a 0 to 10 scale.
It doesn't measure SEO results, and it doesn't measure which brands Claude recommends.
None of the agencies above ships its own model on the board, and I couldn't verify from their sites which model each one uses internally.
What the board does show is how well each Claude model follows a detailed brief and produces polished work first time.
That matters for the second meaning of the phrase, because an agency doing SEO with Claude has to choose a model for briefs, drafts and page builds.
These are the live averages from each model's page.
| Claude model | GoldieBench average | Price on the board | Where I'd use it in SEO production |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Opus 5 | 8.27 | $5 / $25 per M tokens | Final drafts, landing pages and anything a customer will read |
| Claude Fable 5 | 8.10 | $10 / $50 per M tokens | The hardest briefs where a mistake is expensive |
| Claude Opus 5.5 | 7.57 | $4 / $20 per M tokens | Long research and content runs that need a large context window |
| Opus 4.8 | 7.51 | $15 / $75 per M tokens | Older workflows that were built around it |
| Claude Sonnet 5 | 7.01 | $3 / $15 per M tokens | High-volume drafting and iterative, tool-using tasks |
Claude Opus 5 is the highest-scoring Claude model on the board at 8.27.
Claude Fable 5 is close behind at 8.10, and it costs twice as much per token on the board.
Claude Opus 5.5 averages 7.57, which is lower than Opus 5 on these one-shot builds even though it is the newer model.
Claude Sonnet 5 averages 7.01 and is the cheapest Claude model listed.
Claude Mythos 5 has a page on the board, but it has no score because access is restricted to vetted partners. For context outside the Claude family, GPT-5.6 Sol averages 8.16, which puts it between Opus 5 and Fable 5.
These scores are about build quality, so please don't read them as a ranking of which model writes the best SEO content.
What the Claude scores mean when you hire an agency
The model an agency uses matters less than the system around it.
A strong model with no fact checking still produces confident mistakes.
A cheaper model with a clear brief, a source of truth and a human editor can produce very good pages.
So the useful question is not which Claude model the agency uses.
The useful question is what the agency does before and after the model writes.
My practical setup is a cheaper model for volume and a top model for anything a customer will read.
On this board that means Claude Sonnet 5 for drafts and Claude Opus 5 for the final pass.
A person still reviews everything, because no score on this leaderboard replaces accountability.
