Link Building Service Reviews: Where To Find Them, How To Weigh Them, And Which AI Models Read Them Best
Link building service reviews explained: where 9 providers' reviews live (mine disclosed), how to weigh them, and which benchmarked AI models read them.

Link building service reviews are the feedback other buyers leave about a link building provider, and the provider I rank first is Goldie Agency, which is my own agency.
I'm telling you that upfront so you can weigh my bias against everything else on this page.
After my agency, the providers whose reviews I'd read are Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe, Page One Power, Editorial.Link, Authority Builders and Outreach Monks.
Reviews matter in this industry because link building is hard to judge from the outside, and results can take months to show up.
In this post I'll rank the providers by how checkable their reviews are, explain how to weigh each kind of review, and then show you which AI models do the best job of reading them.
If you'd rather skip the homework, you can book a free SEO strategy session with my team.
The ranked list of providers and their reviews
Every source in this table is one I could load on 27 October 2026.
| Rank | Service | Where its reviews live | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldie Agency and Goldstar Links (my agency) | Video testimonials, a dozen written testimonials and dated case studies | Owners who want links and strategy from one team |
| 2 | Rhino Rank | A REVIEWS.io store page, a claimed Trustpilot profile and case studies | Buyers who want independent ratings |
| 3 | Loganix | A testimonials page with video reviews, plus Trustpilot and Shopper Approved | Agencies that want visible feedback |
| 4 | The HOTH | A reviews page that says it shows 4,000+ reviews, plus Trustpilot | Resellers who want lots to read |
| 5 | FatJoe | A Shopper Approved feed on its reviews page, plus Trustpilot | Agencies buying packaged outreach |
| 6 | Page One Power | Client quotes labelled as Clutch reviews and SEO case studies | Established brands |
| 7 | Editorial.Link | Links to its Clutch and G2 profiles, plus Trustpilot | Buyers who want DR 60+ placements |
| 8 | Authority Builders | Homepage testimonials, case studies and Trustpilot | SEOs who want to choose metrics |
| 9 | Outreach Monks | On-camera testimonials, a case studies page and a newer Trustpilot profile | Agencies at volume |
I haven't hired the eight third-party providers, so I'm describing where their reviews live and what their own pages say.
I'm not quoting star ratings, review counts from platforms or prices, because all three change often.
Top 3 at a glance
- Goldie Agency and Goldstar Links (my agency) is my pick, because you can watch the clients, read named testimonials and check dated case studies against live sites.
- Rhino Rank is the pick for independent ratings, because its homepage links straight to its REVIEWS.io store page.
- Loganix is the pick for agencies, because its testimonials page mixes written reviews with video reviews.
What counts as a link building service review
There are four kinds of review evidence, and each one deserves a different amount of trust.
| Kind of evidence | Who controls it | How much I trust it |
|---|---|---|
| Testimonials on the provider's site | The provider | Some, when the client is named and checkable |
| Video testimonials | The provider, with the client on camera | More, because a real person explains the work |
| Independent review platforms | Trustpilot, Shopper Approved, REVIEWS.io, Clutch or G2 | More, when the reviews contain detail |
| Case studies | The provider, but the website is public | The most, when there are dates and a live site |
My rule is that a review is only as good as your ability to check it.
A claimed profile on a review platform means the company manages that page, and it doesn't mean the platform vouches for the company.
Number one: Goldie Agency and Goldstar Links
Goldie Agency is the SEO and link building agency I started on my own, and it has 70+ SEO experts.I started it after my own cryptocurrency site got zero Google traffic for months, and link building was what finally made my affiliate sites rank.
Its testimonials page carries video testimonials, and the page says there are no scripts.
The strategy session page quotes clients with their companies, such as Alex Membrillo of Cardinal Digital Marketing and Will Cannon of Signaturely.
Alex Membrillo's quote says Julian found "QUALITY links from great websites, not links that are for sale".
The case studies page lists dated results, and one says Munten Letselschade grew traffic from 263 to 3,157 between June and December 2025 with link building.
That is a past result for one site, and nobody can promise the same for yours.
I couldn't find a Trustpilot profile for goldie.agency when I checked, so our evidence lives on our own sites.

The eight third-party providers in brief
Rhino Rank says its links are trusted by 7,000+ clients and offers 12-month replacement cover.
Loganix says its fulfilment team averages six years of SEO experience and links to its Trustpilot and Shopper Approved pages from its homepage.
The HOTH says its reviews page shows more than 4,000 reviews from real customers.
FatJoe shows its latest Shopper Approved reviews on its own reviews page and says it has delivered orders since 2012.
Page One Power says it has been exclusively a link building service since 2010 and publishes an SEO case studies page.
Editorial.Link says it is trusted by 500+ brands and that every placement sits on a site with DR 60 or higher.
Authority Builders says it has worked with vetted publishers since 2016 and publishes a case studies page.
Outreach Monks says it has operated since 2017 and publishes a case studies page.
How to check link building service reviews in six steps
- First, open each provider's homepage and note every link to testimonials, case studies and review platforms.
- Second, read the lowest-rated reviews on any independent platform and see how the provider replied.
- Third, read the detailed positive reviews that name sites, reporting and results.
- Fourth, check that one named reviewer and their business really exist.
- Fifth, open one case study website and confirm it still exists and fits the niche claimed.
- Sixth, ask the provider for live placements from a recent campaign in your niche.
How each type of buyer should read the same reviews
A local business owner should look for reviews that mention plain-English communication and results in a niche like theirs.
An agency owner should look for reviews that mention reliable delivery, clear reports it can pass to clients and quick replacements for lost links.
Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe and Outreach Monks all advertise white label or reseller delivery on their own homepages, so agencies can start there.
Goldie Agency doesn't advertise a white label programme, so an agency that wants us to fulfil for clients should ask on the free strategy call.
An established brand should look for reviews that mention approvals, process and how the provider protects the brand's name.
Page One Power and Editorial.Link are the two whose client quotes I'd read first for a brand.
A freelancer who wants to pick the metrics should look at Authority Builders, which says you choose the metrics and its team selects the sites.
Whichever buyer you are, the same rule applies, because the review you can check always beats the review you can't.
How to spot fake or weak reviews
- A review with no name, no business and no detail can't be checked, so it deserves almost no weight.
- A cluster of near-identical praise in a short window deserves a closer look.
- Evidence that exists only on the provider's own site gives you nothing independent to check.
- A review that celebrates a guaranteed ranking is praising a promise nobody can keep.
- A case study with no dates or live website is a story rather than evidence.
What Google's rules add that reviews can't
Google's spam policies define link spam as creating links primarily to manipulate search rankings.
The examples include buying or selling links for ranking purposes and using automated programs or services to create links.
Google also says paid links are fine for advertising as long as they carry rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored".
A happy reviewer can't see how every link in their campaign was earned, so ask every provider, mine included.

Do link building providers use their own AI model?
Now for the GoldieBench part, and I need to be clear about what it measures.
None of these providers ships its own model, and none of them has an entry on the GoldieBench board.
GoldieBench scores AI models on one-shot builds such as landing pages, apps, games and visuals, on a 0 to 10 scale.
It doesn't measure link building results, and it doesn't measure which provider has the best reviews.
What it does show is how well a model follows a detailed brief first time, which matters when you ask a model to read and sort hundreds of reviews.
Which GoldieBench models I'd use to read link building reviews
These are the live averages from each model's page on this site, checked on 27 October 2026.
| Model | GoldieBench average | Review job I'd give it |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Opus 5 | 8.27 | The final read of a shortlist and the questions you send each provider |
| GPT-5.6 Sol | 8.16 | Sorting reviews into themes such as link quality, reporting and communication |
| MiniMax M3 | 7.97 | A cheap first pass over a long pile of reviews |
| Kimi K3 | 7.89 | Reading long review pages and case studies in one go |
| GLM-5.2 | 7.77 | Budget tagging you can run on your own setup |
Claude Opus 5 is the top model in this group at 8.27, and GPT-5.6 Sol is close behind at 8.16.
MiniMax M3 averages 7.97, which makes it the model I'd reach for when the pile of reviews is long and the budget is short.
These scores are about build quality, so please don't read them as a ranking of the providers or of their reviews.
What the scores mean when you read reviews
A model can tell you that a review has no detail or that ten reviews use almost the same words.
A model can't tell you whether the reviewer is real, so a person should always check one named client.
A model should never write reviews, because fake reviews are the exact problem you're trying to avoid.
My practical setup is a cheap model for sorting and a top model for the final read, with me making every decision.

FAQ
Where can I find honest link building service reviews?
Start with the provider's own testimonials and case studies, then look for reviews on platforms the provider does not control, such as Trustpilot, Shopper Approved, REVIEWS.io, Clutch or G2. A case study you can check against a live website is the strongest evidence.
Which link building service has the best reviews?
Julian Goldie ranks his own agency, Goldie Agency with Goldstar Links, first and discloses the bias. He then lists Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe, Page One Power, Editorial.Link, Authority Builders and Outreach Monks by how checkable their review evidence is.
Do link building providers ship their own AI model?
No. None of the providers in this list ships its own model or appears on GoldieBench. They sell services, so use the board to choose a model for reading their reviews.
Which GoldieBench model is best for summarising reviews?
Claude Opus 5 averages 8.27 and GPT-5.6 Sol 8.16 for careful reads, while MiniMax M3 averages 7.97 at a lower cost for a first pass. GoldieBench measures one-shot builds, not review quality.
Does Goldie Agency have a Trustpilot profile?
Julian found no Trustpilot profile for goldie.agency on 27 October 2026. Its evidence is video testimonials, named written testimonials and dated case studies on its own sites.
Why are there no star ratings in this post?
Star ratings and review counts change every week, so the post links to each live review source instead of freezing a number.
