Best LLM Optimization Agency: Seven Picks, What LLMO Really Is, And How The Models You're Optimising For Score
Which is the best LLM optimization agency? 7 picks (mine first, disclosed), what LLMO really is, and how Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok score.

The best LLM optimization agency on my list is Goldie Agency, and I'm telling you upfront that it's my own agency so you can weigh my bias.
LLM optimisation, or LLMO, is the work of getting your brand named, described correctly and cited when people ask large language model tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity for a recommendation.
My other six picks are LinkGraph, Discovered Labs, Momentic, Dreikon, Embryo and Brafton, and I checked each one on its own site on 18 October 2026.
If you want my team to look at your brand first, you can book a free SEO strategy session and get a custom game plan for Google and AI search.
In this post I'll explain what LLMO is, what an agency actually does and how to choose one.
Near the end, I'll show you how the language models people are actually asking score on this leaderboard, and what that does and doesn't tell you.
Here's my full ranking in one table, with my own agency at number one.
| Rank | Agency | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldie Agency (mine) | One team for AI visibility, coverage and links |
| 2 | LinkGraph | A packaged LLM visibility plan |
| 3 | Discovered Labs | B2B SaaS with tracking built in |
| 4 | Momentic | AI search plus agent readiness |
| 5 | Dreikon | German-speaking markets |
| 6 | Embryo | UK brands that want GEO next to SEO |
| 7 | Brafton | Content-heavy brands |
What is LLM optimisation?
A large language model is the engine inside tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot.
LLM optimisation is the work of shaping what those models find, remember and say about your brand.
When a buyer asks one of them for a recommendation, the answer usually names only a handful of businesses.
In my GEO examples video I explain why that matters, because old search gave you ten blue links and an AI answer might name just one to three businesses.
There are two routes into that answer, and a good agency works on both.
| Route | How it works | What the agency works on |
|---|---|---|
| Live search | The tool searches the web, reads pages and cites some of them | Pages that rank, crawler access and answer-shaped content |
| Model memory | The model repeats what it learned from the wider web during training | Consistent brand facts and mentions across many trusted sites |
LLMO, GEO and AEO in one table
| Label | Stands for | What it puts first |
|---|---|---|
| LLMO | Large language model optimisation | What the model itself knows and says about your brand |
| GEO | Generative engine optimisation | Being cited inside AI-written answers |
| AEO | Answer engine optimisation | Being the direct answer to a question |
GEO comes from the paper GEO: Generative Engine Optimization by Pranjal Aggarwal and colleagues, first posted on arXiv in November 2023.
Most agencies use the three labels interchangeably, so judge the work and not the acronym.
If you want a GEO-first list with different agencies, my best GEO agency post covers it.
What an LLM optimization agency actually does
1. A prompt baseline
The agency agrees buyer prompts with you, asks each one in every AI tool your buyers use and saves the answers with dates and cited sources.
2. A brand fact file
The agency makes sure your name, services, location and proof say the same thing on your site, your profiles and your listings.
3. Mentions on trusted sites
My strategy session page says AI platforms look for consistent signals across the wider web, such as trusted publications, expert articles, independent reviews and comparisons.
4. Answer-shaped pages
Key pages open with a direct answer and back it up with real proof that only you have.
5. Crawler access
OpenAI's crawler page recommends allowing OAI-SearchBot, and Perplexity's crawler page recommends allowing PerplexityBot. Google's AI features guide says you don't need special schema or AI text files for AI Overviews or AI Mode.📞 Want to see which of the five jobs your brand needs first? The 7 best LLM optimization agencies in 2026
I avoided the agencies already compared in my best GEO agency and AI SEO optimization agency posts, so these are fresh options.
| Rank | Agency | What its own site says today | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldie Agency (mine) | A free AI brand visibility session for Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, built on trusted-source coverage | One team for AI visibility, coverage and links |
| 2 | LinkGraph | An LLM visibility plan with an audit, entity work, content, digital PR and AI visibility tracking | A packaged LLM visibility plan |
| 3 | Discovered Labs | An AEO and GEO agency for B2B companies with its own AI Visibility Tracker | B2B SaaS with tracking built in |
| 4 | Momentic | AI search across ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and Perplexity, plus AXO for AI agents | AI search plus agent readiness |
| 5 | Dreikon | A dedicated LLMO agency service from a German agency | German-speaking markets |
| 6 | Embryo | GEO and AEO with brand entity building, structured data and tracking | UK brands that want GEO next to SEO |
| 7 | Brafton | GEO content, sentiment analysis and AI citation tracking | Content-heavy brands |
1. Goldie Agency
Goldie Agency is the SEO and link building agency I started on my own, and it now has 70+ people. It's my company, so this is the most biased entry on the page.
The session page lists a custom visibility plan, an AI visibility roadmap, a competitor gap analysis and a plan for traffic, mentions and leads.
The agency site also lists link building with manual outreach and no PBNs, a Complete Site Audit and AI Automation.
In my GEO examples video I show Google's AI Overview for "best HARO agency" listing five suppliers and linking Goldie Agency first.
2. LinkGraph
LinkGraph's AI visibility page says it helps businesses become the go-to answer when AI models respond to real questions, and it lists press release syndication and local citation building in its plan.
3. Discovered Labs
Discovered Labs says it was co-founded by a Stanford AI researcher and a growth marketer, and it publishes research on what drives AI citations.
4. Momentic
Momentic describes AXO as agent experience optimisation, which helps AI agents take action on your site.
5. Dreikon
Dreikon's LLMO page says it structures content so AI systems recognise it, classify it and use it in their responses.
6. Embryo
Embryo is a Manchester-based agency whose GEO page also lists SEO and AI visibility auditing and digital PR.
7. Brafton
Brafton's GEO page lists sentiment analysis of how AI tools portray your brand.
I haven't hired these six agencies, so I'm describing what each one says about itself.
I haven't listed prices, because agencies quote after a call and I won't guess.
How to choose an LLM optimization agency
Use this table on every sales call.
| What to judge | A strong answer | A weak answer |
|---|---|---|
| Baseline | The agency shows dated AI answers for prompts you chose | The agency only shows traffic charts |
| Both routes | The plan covers live search and model memory | The plan is only more blog posts |
| Mentions | The plan names real publications, reviews and comparisons in your market | The plan never leaves your own site |
| Content | The agency shows a page rewritten with a direct answer and real proof | The agency talks about volume |
| Honesty | The agency says results can't be guaranteed | The agency guarantees a mention or a date |
| Ownership | You keep your content, accounts and data | The agency holds your logins |
- Walk away from any agency that guarantees ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Google's AI will recommend you.
- Walk away from anyone who sells special schema or an AI text file as the secret, because Google says neither is needed.
- Walk away from any plan built on thousands of AI pages with no human review.
Google's guidance on using generative AI content says AI-written content should be fact-checked and reviewed by people before publishing.

My own proof, labelled as mine
In my GEO examples video, Google's AI Overview for "best geo expert" names me first and cites several of my pages.
I also show one of my sites going from zero to about 1,300 Google clicks a day, with over 9,600 impressions inside Google's AI features on a single day.
Those are my results on my own sites, so treat them as proof the approach can work and not as a forecast for yours.
Nobody can guarantee what a model says
Nobody can guarantee what a model says, and that includes me and Goldie Agency.
None of the companies behind ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity publishes a formula for which brands get recommended.
An agency controls the footprint a model reads and the honesty of its reporting, and it doesn't control the answer.

Which language models are you optimising for, and how do they score on GoldieBench?
Now for the GoldieBench part, and I need to be clear about what it measures.
GoldieBench scores models on one-shot builds such as landing pages, apps, games and visuals, on a 0 to 10 scale.
It doesn't measure which brands a model recommends, and it doesn't measure SEO or LLMO results.
An LLM optimization agency doesn't ship its own model, and none of the agencies above has a model on the board.
The tools your buyers ask are built on model families from a few makers, so here's how the models from those families score on their live pages today.
| Model family | Model on GoldieBench | GoldieBench average |
|---|---|---|
| Claude (Anthropic) | Claude Opus 5 | 8.27 |
| Claude (Anthropic) | Claude Opus 5.5 | 7.57 |
| Claude (Anthropic) | Claude Sonnet 5 | 7.01 |
| GPT (OpenAI) | GPT-5.6 Sol | 8.16 |
| Grok (xAI) | Grok | 8.09 |
| Grok (xAI) | Grok 4.7 | 7.15 |
| Gemini (Google) | Gemini 3.6 Flash | 7.08 |
Claude Opus 5 leads this group at 8.27, with GPT-5.6 Sol at 8.16 and Grok at 8.09.
Inside the Claude family, Opus 5.5 averages 7.57 and Sonnet 5 averages 7.01, which shows how much scores vary between models from the same maker.
Grok 4.7 averages 7.15 on the twenty game tasks it was benched on, and Gemini 3.6 Flash averages 7.08 as the only Gemini model on the board.
Perplexity has no model on GoldieBench, so I can't give you a score for it.
The board also can't tell you which exact model a consumer app runs on a given day, because the makers change that themselves.
So please don't read these scores as a ranking of which AI is easiest to get recommended in.
What the model scores mean when you hire an LLMO agency
The scores matter when an agency uses AI to produce the work, such as drafting answer-first pages or summarising your baseline.
A model that follows a detailed brief well first time leaves fewer mistakes for a human editor to catch.
Even so, the system around the model matters more than the model itself.
A mid-scoring model with a clear brief, a brand fact file and a human editor can produce very good pages.
A top model with no fact checking still produces confident mistakes, and confident mistakes are the last thing you want an AI tool to repeat about your brand.
So ask every agency what it does before and after the model writes, and not just which model it uses.

Julian Goldie ranks his own agency, Goldie Agency, first and discloses the bias. His third-party picks are LinkGraph, Discovered Labs, Momentic, Dreikon, Embryo and Brafton.
What is LLM optimisation?
LLM optimisation, or LLMO, is the work of getting a brand named, described correctly and cited when people ask large language model tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity for answers.
Can an LLM optimization agency guarantee a mention in ChatGPT or Claude?
No. Nobody can guarantee what a model says. An agency can improve the footprint a model reads and measure the answers honestly.
Do LLM optimization agencies ship their own AI model?
No. They sell services, and none of the agencies in this post has a model on GoldieBench. The models people ask come from makers like Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI.
How do the models behind ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok score on GoldieBench?
Claude Opus 5 averages 8.27, GPT-5.6 Sol 8.16, Grok 8.09, Claude Opus 5.5 7.57, Grok 4.7 7.15, Gemini 3.6 Flash 7.08 and Claude Sonnet 5 7.01. GoldieBench measures one-shot builds, not which brands a model recommends.
Does a higher GoldieBench score make a model easier to get recommended in?
No. GoldieBench scores one-shot builds such as landing pages, apps and games. It says nothing about how any AI tool chooses which brands to name.
