Best SEO Speakers 2026: A Verified Top 10, The Year's Events, And How The AI Models Behind Search Score
The best SEO speakers 2026, each verified on a real conference page, the 2026 event dates, and how the AI models behind search score on GoldieBench.

The best SEO speakers 2026 has put on stage are led by Mike King of iPullRank, Aleyda Solis of Orainti and Ross Simmonds of Foundation.
An SEO speaker, for this list, is someone an official 2026 SEO conference chose to put on its programme, and I checked every name on 17 October 2026.
I'm not on the list, because I don't have a conference speaking record to show you.
If you want help with your own visibility rather than a talk, book a free SEO strategy session and get a custom AI visibility plan.
In this post I'll explain what makes a speaker worth booking, give you the verified top ten and the 2026 event dates, and show you how to choose.
Near the end, I'll look at why so many 2026 talks are about AI search, and how the models behind those AI tools score on this leaderboard.
What makes someone one of the best SEO speakers in 2026?
A great SEO speaker in 2026 is someone organisers trust with a stage this year, talking about a problem audiences have this year.
That's why I used one hard rule before anything else.
| Rule | What I checked |
|---|---|
| A real 2026 stage | The person must appear on an official 2026 conference page, schedule or speaker list |
| More than one stage | Two verified 2026 events ranks higher than one |
| Keynote slots | An opening keynote, closing keynote or named keynote counts extra |
| A 2026 topic | Roles and talks on AI search, measurement and technical SEO rank higher |
I haven't hired these speakers or watched every talk, and no event page publishes fees, so the order is my judgement from public programmes.

How to choose an SEO speaker for your event
- Write the one problem your audience most wants solved in a single sentence.
- Pick two or three speakers from the table whose "best for" column matches it.
- Open the linked event page and confirm the date, because old speaker pages tell you little about today.
- Watch a recent talk where you can, since brightonSEO sells video bundles of its sessions.
- Contact the speaker through the company named on the event page with your date, format and audience size.
- Agree the format, timings, travel and fee in writing before you announce anyone.
No talk can guarantee rankings for your attendees, so be careful with anyone who promises them.
Which speaker fits which kind of event?
| Event type | My first pick | My backup pick |
|---|---|---|
| Technical SEO conference | Mike King | Cindy Krum |
| Marketing conference with an SEO track | Crystal Carter | Ross Simmonds |
| Agency client day | Mark Williams-Cook | Aleyda Solis |
| AI search and LLM visibility workshop | Duane Forrester | Krishna Madhavan |
| Opening keynote | Dr. Pete Meyers | Ross Simmonds |
| Data-heavy technical session | Patrick Stox | Cindy Krum |
These pairings come from each speaker's listed role or 2026 slot, so treat them as a starting point rather than a rule.
What a great SEO talk looks like in 2026
A great talk leaves the audience with something they can do the following Monday.
The best sessions I've watched share three things.
First, they open with a real problem the room recognises within the first minute.
Second, they show evidence, such as data, screenshots or a worked example, instead of opinions on their own.
Third, they end with a short list of actions the audience can take without buying anything.
When you brief a speaker, it's fair to ask for all three.
It's also fair to ask how long the talk is, whether slides will be shared and whether the session can be recorded.
Can't get to a conference? Here's how to learn from these speakers anyway
You don't need a ticket to learn from the best SEO speakers of 2026.
brightonSEO sells video bundles of its talks, so you can watch sessions after the event.
Most of the speakers on this list also publish through their companies, so following the company named on the event page is an easy start.
Pick two or three people whose topics match your biggest problem, and give yourself one change to test each week.
That is how a talk turns into a result, because nothing changes until you act on what you heard.

Why so many 2026 SEO talks are about AI search
Look at the 2026 programmes and one theme keeps coming up.
Aleyda Solis spoke about success metrics for the AI search era, Duane Forrester covered LLM visibility, and Dixon Jones talked about briefing AI with entity maps.
The brightonSEO October 2026 schedule even has a GEO and AEO session block on its first morning.
Crystal Carter's job title at Wix is Head of AI Search and SEO Communications, and Krishna Madhavan's keynote at Pubcon was about Microsoft Bing AI.
The reason is simple, because buyers now ask AI assistants questions they used to type into Google.
How the AI models behind search score on GoldieBench
Now for the GoldieBench part, and I need to be clear about what it measures.
GoldieBench scores AI models on one-shot builds such as landing pages, apps, games and visuals, on a 0 to 10 scale.
It doesn't measure speaking, SEO results or which brands an AI assistant recommends.
None of the speakers on this list ships an AI model, so there is no speaker score on the board.
What I can show you is how the models from the companies behind ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude score on their live pages.
| Model | Maker | The maker's assistant | GoldieBench average |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Opus 5 | Anthropic | Claude | 8.27 |
| GPT-5.6 Sol | OpenAI | ChatGPT | 8.16 |
| Claude Opus 5.5 | Anthropic | Claude | 7.57 |
| Gemini 3.6 Flash | Gemini | 7.08 | |
| Claude Sonnet 5 | Anthropic | Claude | 7.01 |
Claude Opus 5 is the highest-scoring of these at 8.27, with GPT-5.6 Sol close behind at 8.16.
Gemini 3.6 Flash averages 7.08, and it is the only Gemini model on the board, so it's the closest view I have of that family.
Microsoft Bing's own models aren't on the board, so I can't give you a score for them.
The board also can't tell you which exact model a consumer app is running on any given day, because the makers change that themselves.
What the model scores mean for you
The scores matter if you use AI to prepare for an event, write up what you learned or turn a talk into content.
A model that follows a detailed brief well first time makes fewer mistakes for you to fix.
Even so, the system around the model matters more than the model itself.
A clear brief, a source of truth and a human check will beat a top model with no fact checking.
That's the same reason I linked a source page next to every speaker above, because a model on its own will happily invent a conference slot.
