LLM SEO Provider: Seven Picks, The Four Provider Types, And How The Models Behind The Answers Score
LLM SEO provider guide: 7 picks (my agency #1, disclosed), the 4 provider types, and how the models behind ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini score.

The LLM SEO provider I'd pick first is my own agency, Goldie Agency, and I'm telling you upfront that this is my own ranking so you can weigh the bias.
An LLM SEO provider is any agency, consultant, software company or in-house setup that helps your brand get named and cited when people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI a question.
My other six picks are Peak Ace, Metehan Yesilyurt, Ahrefs Brand Radar, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Scrunch and AthenaHQ, and I checked each one on its own site on 18 October 2026.
If you'd like my team's view of your brand first, you can book a free SEO strategy session and get a custom game plan for Google and AI search.
In this post I'll explain the job, compare the four provider types and rank the seven providers.
Near the end, I'll show you how the AI models behind those assistants score on this leaderboard, and what that does and doesn't tell you.
Here's my full ranking of the seven LLM SEO providers in one table, with my agency at number one.
| Rank | Provider | Type | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldie Agency (mine) | Agency | Owners who want the plan and the work done |
| 2 | Peak Ace | Agency | Teams that want a four-stage LLM programme |
| 3 | Metehan Yesilyurt | Consultant | Teams that want a hands-on AI search researcher |
| 4 | Ahrefs Brand Radar | Software | Teams already using Ahrefs |
| 5 | Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit | Software | Small and mid-sized teams and agencies |
| 6 | Scrunch | Software | Brands watching how AI agents use their site |
| 7 | AthenaHQ | Software | Wide tracking across many AI assistants |
What is an LLM SEO provider?
LLM stands for large language model, which is the technology inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Google's AI answers.
LLM SEO is the work of making your brand easy for those models to find, trust and name.
The same work is often called GEO, for generative engine optimisation, or AEO, for answer engine optimisation.
In my GEO examples video I put the problem simply, because old SEO gave you ten blue links and position seven still got clicks.
An AI answer often names only one to three businesses, so there's no room left for number seven.
| Term | What it means in plain English |
|---|---|
| LLM | A large language model, the system that writes the AI answer |
| LLM SEO | Getting your brand named and cited in those answers |
| Baseline | A dated record of what AI tools say today for your buyer questions |
| Citation | A source the AI answer links to or names |
The four types of LLM SEO provider
You need to pick the type before you pick the name.
| Type | What you get | When it wins |
|---|---|---|
| Agency | A team that plans and executes coverage, content, links and fixes | You don't have people to do the work |
| Consultant | One senior person's diagnosis and plan | You have a team and need direction |
| Tracking software | Dashboards of where AI answers mention you and competitors | You need a baseline and ongoing measurement |
| In-house with AI agents | Your own people running agents that research, draft and track | You want to keep the skill and the data |
The most common mistake I see is buying a dashboard when the business really needed people to change things.
A tool measures the problem, and somebody still has to fix it.

1. Goldie Agency
Goldie Agency is the SEO and link-building agency I started on my own, and it now has 70+ people in Bangkok. The site lists link building, a complete site audit and AI automation, with manual outreach and no PBNs.
In my GEO examples video my own screens show Google's AI Overview for "best HARO agency" listing five suppliers and linking Goldie Agency first, and that's my result rather than a promise for yours.
The free session page lists a custom visibility plan, an AI visibility roadmap, a competitor gap analysis and a plan for traffic, mentions and leads.
2. Peak Ace
Peak Ace's LLM consulting page says it aims to make your brand a trusted source in AI-generated answers, through prompting, monitoring, analysing and optimising.
3. Metehan Yesilyurt
Metehan's consultancy page lists technical SEO audits, AI search optimisation for ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, content strategy for AI citations and custom MCP server development for SEO tools.
4. Ahrefs Brand Radar
Ahrefs says Brand Radar tracks your brand's visibility in LLMs, and that its AI marketing platform is built on its own web index.
5. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit
Semrush says the toolkit benchmarks AI mentions, compares sentiment, researches prompts, tracks daily visibility and audits sites for issues that could block AI crawlers.
6. Scrunch
Scrunch calls itself an AI customer experience platform, and it lists Agent Pages for delivering an optimised experience to AI agents.
7. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ describes itself as agents to win on AI search, with mention tracking across 11+ major LLMs and competitor monitoring.
I haven't paid any of the six third-party providers, so I'm describing what each says about itself.
I haven't listed prices, because I won't guess and plans change.
How to choose an LLM SEO provider
Use this checklist before you sign anything.
- Write 20 buyer questions and record your own baseline of AI answers with dates and cited sources.
- Decide who will do the work each week, because that tells you whether you need an agency, a consultant or a tool.
- Check robots.txt yourself, because OpenAI and Perplexity both say to allow their search crawlers if you want to appear.
- Remember that Google's AI features guide says AI Overviews and AI Mode need no special schema or AI text files.
- Ask every provider who fact-checks AI-written content, because Google's generative AI guidance, updated on 1 October 2026, stresses manual review.
- Agree a 90-day first phase and compare your baseline at the end.
Nobody can guarantee what a model says, and that includes me and Goldie Agency.
A provider controls the footprint a model reads and the honesty of the reporting, not the answer itself.
The method behind my number one pick
I call my system the answer engine, and it has three moves.
The first move is to be the source, because AI can't write about a test only you ran, so every page needs a real case study or result.
The second move is to be everywhere, with several sites and platforms pointing to the same answer so a brand can appear two to four times on page one.
The third move is to be first, which means publishing within 24 hours of a topic appearing.
AI reads the pages that rank and sums up what they say, so when several good pages agree on a name, it tends to repeat that name.

Your first 30 days with an LLM SEO provider
The first month tells you whether the engagement will work, so here's what good looks like.
- In week one, the provider reviews your baseline and agrees the priority buyer questions with you.
- In week two, the provider audits your brand facts across your site, profiles and listings.
- In week three, the provider picks the pages to rewrite in answer-first format, and you add the real case studies only you have.
- In week four, the provider names the third-party sources to target first and agrees who will pitch and approve each piece.
By the end of the month you should hold a fact file, a page plan and a source plan, even before any answers change.
If you only bought a tool, you should at least hold a clean baseline and a list of the gaps it found.
Red flags when hiring an LLM SEO provider
- Walk away from any provider who guarantees that ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI will recommend you.
- Walk away from anyone who sells special schema or an AI text file as the secret, because Google says neither is needed.
- Walk away from anyone who won't show you the raw answers behind their reports.
- Walk away from any plan that is only more blog posts on your own site, because AI platforms look for consistent signals across the wider web.
- Be careful with any tool sold as a complete solution, because a dashboard measures the problem and doesn't fix it.
Which AI models sit behind the assistants these providers track?
Now for the GoldieBench part, and I need to be clear about what it measures.
GoldieBench scores models on one-shot builds such as landing pages, apps, games and visuals, on a 0 to 10 scale.
It doesn't measure which brands an AI recommends, and it doesn't measure SEO results.
An LLM SEO provider doesn't ship its own model, and none of the seven providers above has a model on the board.
The assistants the tracking tools watch are built by model makers, so this is how those makers' models score on their live pages today.
| Model | Maker | The maker's assistant | GoldieBench average |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Opus 5 | Anthropic | Claude | 8.27 |
| GPT-5.6 Sol | OpenAI | ChatGPT | 8.16 |
| Grok | xAI | Grok | 8.09 |
| Claude Opus 5.5 | Anthropic | Claude | 7.57 |
| Gemini 3.6 Flash | Gemini | 7.08 |
Claude Opus 5 is the highest of these at 8.27, and GPT-5.6 Sol sits close behind at 8.16.
Claude Opus 5.5 averages 7.57, which shows that a newer model name doesn't always mean a higher build score on this board.
Gemini 3.6 Flash averages 7.08, and it's the only Gemini model on the board, so it's the closest view I have of that family.
Perplexity has no model on GoldieBench, so I can't give you a score for it.
The board also can't tell you which exact model version a consumer app runs at any moment, because the makers change that themselves.
What the model scores mean when you pick an LLM SEO provider
The scores don't tell you which assistant is easiest to get mentioned in, so please don't read them that way.
They matter more when a provider uses AI to produce work, such as drafting answer-first pages or checking your fact file.
A model that follows a detailed brief well first time leaves fewer mistakes for a human editor to catch.
Even so, the system around the model matters more than the model itself.
A provider with a clear brief, a source of truth and a human fact-check will beat a top model with no review step.
So ask every provider which assistants they track, how often they re-ask your questions and who checks the AI's drafts.
